Permanent account and data deletion
You can delete your SurgMD account directly from the app. This process is permanent and cannot be undone.
How to Delete Your Account (In-App)

Open the Menu
Tap the menu icon (☰) in the navigation drawer

Tap "Delete Account"
Scroll to the bottom of the menu and select the red "Delete Account" option

Review What Gets Deleted
Carefully read what will be permanently removed

Confirm Your Email
Verify ownership by confirming the email on your account

Final Confirmation
Check the box acknowledging deletion is permanent and confirm
What Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, the following will be permanently removed:
- Login credentials — Your email and password
- Surgical cases — All cases and case summaries
- Photos and videos — All media files associated with your cases
- Financial records — Revenue, payments, and transaction history
- Subscription data — Your plan and billing information
- Preferences — Settings and customizations
Timeline
Deletion completes within 24–48 hours. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted. After deletion, you will not be able to log back in.
If You Have an Active Subscription
If your account has an active subscription (Pro, Ultimate, or monthly plan):
- Your subscription will be cancelled immediately
- Any remaining subscription time will not be refunded
- You will lose access to premium features when deletion completes
No App Access? Delete via Web
If you've uninstalled the app or cannot access Settings, you can request deletion by emailing us at
[email protected] with your registered email address. We'll process your request within 48 hours.
⚠️ This action is permanent and irreversible. You will lose all access to your account and data. Please make sure you've exported or backed up any important information before proceeding.
